Most light vehicles more than 5 years old will require an eSafety check before they can be registered in NSW. ... After 14 days, the report expires and you'll have to pay for a new eSafety check.. Once all repairs are carried out, a follow-up check is required. If you return to the same eSafety check station that failed the vehicle initially, there'll be no charge.
